For articulation: Students should draw one of the card slips, then read the word or sentence out loud using their best TH sounds.
For language: There are many different ways these words and sentences can be used for language therapy. Students should draw one of the cards, and then read the word or sentence out loud. Students can practice adding the word to a sentence or making the sentence longer by adding an independent or subordinate clause to it. They can also describe the nouns in the sentence (looks, function, location, related words, etc.), or think of synonyms or antonyms for the verbs and adjectives in the sentence.
For fluency: Students should draw one of the card slips, then read the word or sentence out loud. They can practice whichever fluency-shaping or stuttering modification strategy they are working on. Students can also say these words and sentences to practice pseudo-stuttering.
This resource is perfect for late elementary through high school articulation (TH sounds), language, or fluency students. Some of the words or sentences may be more difficult for students with delayed language skills. Please see the preview of this product to make sure it looks appropriate for your students.
