These five game boards are a great way for students to practice their initial/prevocalic R sound while having fun! Each space on the game boards has a word for students to say using an R sound. Words included are a mix of functional and fun words, such as "real," "relieved," "reason", and "raccoon." There are at least 35 different words on each game board, with over 200 different initial/prevocalic R words in this product! None of the words have any other type of R (no vocalic or R-blends), so students can focus solely on producing the prevocalic/initial R sound.
This game works best for late-elementary through middle and high school students (grades 4-12), as some vocabulary words may be unfamiliar to younger students ("reduce," "rigid", "reaction," etc.).
